Synopsis: Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon is set in China, 228 A.D, when China was divided into several states dominated by three Kingdoms, fighting a vicious civil war.It is the story of Zao Zilong (Andy Lau), a young idealistic and ambitious soldier of the Shu army, who dreams of uniting the country for the better. Being courageous, wise and charismatic Zao Zilong makes it up to the post of the supreme leader of the Shu Army, becoming known as the Invincible General.
Based on the classical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon has a blend of epic sceneries, well made martial arts scenes and the who-is-who of Hong Kong’s cinema on the cast-list: Andy Lau, Maggie Q, and Sammo Hung.
